Shooting clean and skiing strong to an individual bronze medal and a strong 4th place finish in the pursuit
Hailing from Calgary are the Gow Brothers and Nathan Smith each providing some sharp shooting and strong skiing for the team.
The rest of women's team - Julia, Emma, Megan and Sarah are all from British Columbia. Brendan Green is the lone representative from the NWT, but this being his 3rd Olympics he can provide the team with depth and knowledge about the event and how to avoid the pitfalls of an Olympic rookie.
Matthias Ahrens (Head Coach) and Roddy Ward (High Performance Director and Womens Coach) both Canmore locals have been assigned to lead the team in PyeongChang.
May our athletes SHOOT STRAIGHT and SKI FAST!

Biathlon, derived from the Greek word meaning “two tests”, is an Olympic sport combining cross-country skiing and precision rifle shooting. The combination of two different events—skiing and shooting—adds to the unpredictability of the race outcome and therefore the excitement, suspense, speculation and potential for surprise!
