Mountain Huckleberry, Ginger Peach and Crimson Guava are some fresh and fruity blends at the top of our list for this summers ice tea, and it’s simple to make, Just follow these steps for a thirst quenching summer beverage...

A tea infuser keeps any tea leaves from floating freely in your cup while you drink. After all, you probably don’t want to be chewing on tea leaves while you drink! It also lets you stop steeping tea after a specified time. You can use a disposable paper filter if you want something you can throw away. Otherwise, you can use a basket infuser to place in your mug or pot.

1. Boil water in your tea kettle

2. While waiting for water to boil, add the appropriate amount of loose leaf tea to your tea infuser. Place the tea infuser inside your teapot or mug. Tip: Double the amount of tea you use when making iced tea

3. When the water reaches the desired temperature, pour it over the tea infuser into your mug or teapot. This will allow the water to circulate through the leaves.

4. Time your tea. Once the time is up, dunk the infuser a couple of times to circulate the water. Remove the infuser.

5. Pour over ice and serve in your favourite mug for a satisfying iced tea or pop it in the fridge for later!

Try this super easy cold brew iced tea recipe great for fruit infusions.-

- Place 2 heaping Tablespoons of loose leaf tea in a 32 oz mason jar and
fill with fresh cold water. (feel free to use a large paper tea bag here
or reusable sachet if you prefer to not have the tea free floating in
your vessel)

- Add water and put it in the fridge over night,
12 hours is generally the best brewing time for any type and is likely
to give the best result.

- Strain the tea leaves as you pour it into your glass or mug using a stainless steel Tea Filter Basket

- Enjoy the cold brewed tea straight up for undiluted flavour, or served over ice. Enjoy!
