Malcolm Hotel's Conference Centre roof garden will display the Malcolm Clan Tartan next spring.....
As finishing construction draws near, one of the unique features of Canmore's newest luxury hotel's is put into place.
Over 2000 boxes of Sedum and Fuchsia will display predominantly blues and greens woven together into the Malcolm Plaid, with slim red and yellow lines of plantings for accents.
As the Sedum and Fuchsia mature, the colours will show in bloom next summer. These perennials were chosen because they are hardy enough species for Canmore's climate, and suitable for roof top garden applications.
Next Spring the roof garden will pit on quite a colourful show for Malcolm guests.

2256 boxes of blue, yellow and green Sedum and red Fuschia plants will adorn The Malcolm Hotel's Conference Centre roof top. Sedums are one of the most favored garden perennials due to the ease in growing them and their hardy nature. They are an excellent choice as a border plant, container plant, or as a roof plant.
