There is something instantly calming about sitting in Katelyn’s chair. From the moment you arrive, she brings a warm, genuine energy that makes clients feel comfortable, cared for, and completely welcome. Her quiet confidence, thoughtful nature, and kind demeanour create an experience that feels personal from start to finish, whether you are in for a subtle refresh or a full transformation.

Born and raised in Canmore, Katelyn’s connection to the Bow Valley is woven into everything she does. Inspired by the beauty of mountain living and the effortless style that comes with it, she loves creating hair that feels natural, modern, and easy to wear and also has a flair for creative hair, she is always pushing herself and trying new things with colour and cut!

Katelyn discovered her passion for hairstyling through Canmore Collegiate’s cosmetology program, where she was part of the very first group of students to explore the trade through the school in 2021 and started working at Hillary & Co in 2023. She has continued building her education completing hair loop with intention and dedication, completing advanced training in cutting, colour formulation, styling, and luxury product knowledge. She is deeply committed to continuously learning and refining her craft so she can give every client the highest level of care and attention behind the chair.

What truly sets Katelyn apart is the way she makes people feel. She takes the time to listen closely, understand her clients’ goals, and create an experience that never feels rushed or intimidating. Her gentle personality paired with her growing technical skill makes her especially loved by clients looking for a stylist who feels approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping them feel confident.

Outside of the salon, you will usually find Katelyn embracing mountain life through hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors, or with her family and her dog Bruno.
