Roam is the public transit system for the towns of Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise and in the Bow Valley of Alberta's Rockies. The system is managed by the Bow Valley Regional Transit Services Commission.
Roam Transit Launches 2026 Summer Schedules for Banff, Canmore & Lake Louise
Summer transit service is now underway in the Bow Valley as Roam Transit launches updated schedules for the 2026 season. Beginning May 13, expanded service includes the return of seasonal Banff routes and extended Route 12 access from downtown Canmore to the popular Grassi Lakes Trailhead. Visitors planning trips to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake can now secure summer reservations for the 8X service and Super Pass options, making it easier than ever to explore the Canadian Rockies without a vehicle.
