Canmore Folk Music Festival 2022
It’s happening. The Canmore Folk Music Festival presented by TD has just revealed its 2022 lineup. It's going to be unforgettable!
If you can’t wait to invite live music back into your life, you might as well do it under the sun on August long weekend surrounded by the awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies.
The Canmore Folk Fest has been a beloved summer staple since 1978; welcoming up to 21,000 music fans annually, people travel from across Canada, the US, and globally to experience great music in great company.
The 2022 lineup features some hard-hitters and familiar favourites that you won’t want to miss. Country-Folk icon, Jim Cuddy, will be gracing the stage once more. This time is extra special as his son, Sam Polley will also be performing at the 45th annual Canmore Folk Fest. We may just see the two take the stage together.
The Canmore Folk Fest will also be welcoming celebrated Canadian indie band, Bedouin Soundclash and acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter, Kathleen Edwards. Like we said, hard-hitters!
This is just a taste of the outstanding lineup and you better believe that tickets are going to go fast.
The Canmore Folk Music Festival will take place from July 30-August 1. Its venue is the downtown Centennial Park in the heart of Canmore’s valley bottom.
The festival features 30+ individual acts or performers, family-friendly site, a free concert on festival Friday evening, a kids’ area jammed with crafts, puppets, music, storytelling and a whole lot of laughter!
Capturing the essence of summer, community spirit, and a love for the arts, there is truly something for everyone.
