Once you catch a glimpse of the window display it’s a hard to miss the shop, tucked on 7th Avenue just off main street.

Stepping into the Canmore Tea Company transports you to another world in another time. It is feast for the senses. You are engulfed with the aromas from the many teas and herbs and there is an endless supply of curiosities for the eyes; be sure not to miss the teacup lights made by one of the owners himself!

The Canmore Tea Company opened in 2016 as a family affair. With the family’s love of tea and daily dedication to drinking tea, it was a no-brainer business idea to add a tea shop local to Canmore. There is a touch of care in every aspect of this little shop from a very carefully selected collection of teas to the window display ever-changing with the seasons - the most elaborate displays happen around the holidays where you may find some of your favourite holiday characters.

The local shop now offers over 200 teas and herbs from around the world. The owners will gladly help you find your perfect tea – there is one for everyone! There are single varietal teas, specialty blends, tisanes in loose-leaf and sachets and Luxury Tea collections perfect for gifting.

In addition to teas, there are hundreds of tea pots to choose from along with travels mugs, tea presses, accessories and some coffee paraphernalia too. At the back of the store, you’ll find the mug wall and a large stock of cards sure to make you giggle your way back to the register.
