Three Mountain Family Hikes Offers Guided Private Family Hikes and Tours.

In 2011, Lynda Pianosi pioneered the family hiking book genre by self-publishing Take a Hike with Your Children. This book sold over ten thousand copies and inspired a movement of family hikers. She will have four more family hiking books available in late summer 2024.

In 2014, Lynda became a multi-certified and accredited Professional Interpretive Hiking Guide through the Interpretive Guides Association. She has hiked every 10 km on the front-country trail and under in all four Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks: Yoho, Kootenay, Banff, and Jasper, and many hikes in Kananaskis.

On the hikes you will learn about the area's history, flora, and fauna and some tips and tricks that she used to keep her little ones engaged and motivated on the trails.

Lynda lives in Canmore, Alberta, with her husband, Doug, and their two children (now young men who hike trails with their peers). She is passionate about the benefits of spending time with her family in nature, especially in the wonderful and awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies, and she would like to share this passion with you and your family.
