Event Description
Celebrate October's Harvest Moon with a community swap of kitchen items and supplies!
The Harvest Moon gets its name because it rises around sunset, giving farmers extra light to gather their crops before the first frost sets in. In the spirit of gathering and preparing for the season ahead, our October swap is all about kitchen and pantry supplies!
What can you bring:
- Dinnerware and utensils
- Pots, pans, roasters and cookware
- Small appliances like toasters, slow cookers and air fryers
- Pantry items
- Other kitchen essentials
- Clothing, shoes and accessories
Bring in something you no longer need and swap it for something new-to-you!
Find what you need for Thanksgiving, holiday baking, and the cozy cooking season ahead.
Everything is FREE and all are welcome. You don't need to bring in a donation to take items home.
This event is a partnership between the Canmore Public Library and the Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley - HSBV, with support from the Town of Canmore.
