Event Description
Step into the Opera House, Canmore's picturesque log cabin in Spring Creek, for a therapeutic Cabin Yoga class every Monday and Wednesday at noon from February 3 - April 16th 2025.
These yoga classes will be taught by C-IAYT Yoga Therapist Gill Symons and are one hour in length, beginner friendly, as well as trauma-sensitive. This means individuals are encouraged to make their own choices between the types of movements they want to explore in each posture based on their comfort level and ability.
Cabin Yoga sessions will have a focus on simple breath-led movements to improve flexibility, learning to regulate the nervous system with breathwork, and closing with meditation.
Classes are by registration only at: Cabin Yoga at the Opera House and mats, blocks, and bolsters are provided for up to 10 individuals on a first come first serve basis.
