Great Horned Owl Family at Spring Creek

This spring, a mating pair of Great Horned Owls took up residence in the bush along Spring Creek. Two chicks emerged and the local pigeons took flight! Isn't nature wonderful. If anybody has some more pictures of this event please email them in for posting here.

Canmore's 15th Annual Rolling Sculpture Car Show

August 12, 2017 Centennial Park was full of some great automobiles. Whether you're into Rat Rods, Hot Rods, Classic or Vintage, Fast or Cruisers...it was a great day! All proceeds from the show went to support Sheepdog Lodge. A fully hosted free of charge rustic log cabin retreat that provides family health and support to veteran/first responders and The Bow Valley Food Bank. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Club President Craig Squires for an awesome event. See y'all next year.

Graeme McLeish

I live in Lanark, Scotland. My hobbies are photography, playing electric guitar and hiking. Our family first came to Canmore on vacation in 2004. Although we have had around 20 trips to Canmore since then, the town and the surrounding parks still seem to offer something new every time we visit. For anyone even remotely interested in photography, Canmore is a paradise.

This is a collection from her Mountain Monday series, if you follow CanmoreAlberta.com on Facebook or Instagram you may have seen some of these already, if you don't, then you should. You'll see current photos of the Canmore area from this girls perspective.
