Join us for some live music at The Alder Cafe + Grocery!
The band will be ‘THEY MIGHT BE JAZZ’ and as the name implies, this trio occupies the space between genres, moving fluidly from blues to jazz and adding a dash of swing and country to round out their sound.
Featuring Diane Bischak on violin and Mike Shoemaker playing lead guitar, Rhonda Shippy holds down the low end on upright bass and all three are vocalists. These musicians have been playing in the Bow Valley for a number of years and decided to take their music to the public with this versatile trio. From climbing buddies to band mates, their tasteful, unique sound will have you tapping your feet.
