Event Description
The Shoe Project is back!
Through a writing and performance workshop, eight local immigrant women will tell deeply personal stories of their journeys to Canada, through a pair of shoes that got them here or holds special significance in their lives.
This year's participants are: Rowena D'souza, India / Emilie Houerie, France / Nikol Faltysova, Czech Republic / Nancy Ruiz, Mexico / Pamela Saez, Chile / Kusha Bisht, India / Sabina Siroktova, Czech Republic / Elia Lopez, Mexico
The show can be seen in Canmore at artsPlace on Sat. Feb. 24 & Sun. Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. or in Banff at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies on Sat. Mar. 2 at 6 p.m.
