If you prefer to stay a little closer to ground level, biking on the High Rockies Trail, a trip to Blackshale Suspension Bridge, Spray Lakes, Kananaskis Lakes and so much more are all waiting for you.

And if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some of the amazing wildlife that calls this area home. Late Spring and Early summer are a great time for Moose sightings in the valley behind our lodge. The mud pits that form keep them cool, and they love to visit them early in the mornings. It is quite a sight to see as you sip your morning coffee on the patio.

With the return of summer, also comes the return of peak glamping season. If you have not stayed in one of our glamping tents, you are missing out on the most unique accommodation in Kananaskis.
