There is something special that builds before the opening day of the golf season at Stewart Creek. An anticipation of sunshine, warmer temperatures and most importantly, time spent enjoying the game we love most.

When the season is short, 6 months to be exact, the pressure to have the course in optimal shape for opening day is both exhilarating and if I am being honest, a little terrifying.

Opening day is scheduled for May 9th, weather permitting.

As much as we rely on the mountain weather, which unfortunately can be unkind at times. It takes a well-trained and hardworking team to ensure the golf season comes together. Each year Stewart Creek hires staff from around the globe, sharing their experiences and diversity to truly make it shine bright. In addition, we have a devoted permanent staff that is with us all year, to ensure we are both prepared for the next season and that our year-round operation is successful.

With no surprise that during the ups and downs of the past couple of years, diversity in business and experiences have been key. Time continues to prove that while weddings might look a little different, there is a profound resilience when it comes to “I do’s”.

Over the last couple of years we have refined our wedding brand, specializing in smaller (max 100 person) boutique style weddings. Featuring exceptional food, guest experience and lasting memories. We also cannot forget the breathtaking backdrop of Pigeon Mountain in our covered outdoor ceremony tent, the pinnacle of a picturesque mountain wedding.

While the pace is much slower during the Winter months, our culinary team is hard at work with our dining program, offering a treat and a crackling fire for guests visiting the Bow Valley.

As the season takes hold, the pace does not stop! Making the most of those Summer days becomes everyone’s top priority. Stewart Creek offers a unique experience for first time golfers to well-seasoned veterans of the sport. Our semi-private club invites golfers from around the globe to experience unforgettable rounds, all while creating a space to call home for our loyal members.
