In Canmore, the annual Festival of Trees presented by the Rotary Club of Canmore and the Malcolm Hotel tells us the season is upon us. Come celebrate Christmas in Canmore!

The towns people will gather the first week of December when local businesses and community organizations vie for the top spot in Christmas tree décor. Our tree competitor’s hard work shows in whimsical, beautiful, clever, traditional, and honoring, trees and wreaths that create corridors of wonder at the Malcolm Hotel. Everyone is welcome to walk the halls throughout December to see & feel the spirit of the holidays.

Show us how your business would represent the holiday season with decorating a tree or wreath. Be a sponsor of one of the many festive activities. Or, make a donation in the spirit of the season.

Sponsors can choose to purchase an entire event or contribute an amount towards an event based on the sponsors levels outlined.

The Festival of Trees is the Rotary Club of Canmore’s largest fundraiser of the year. Last year, nearly $100,000 was raised; enabling the Club to give to many organizations.

Once the halls of Christmas beauty are created, and the community begins to wander throughout the greenery, the Festival has arrived.

A Senior’s Christmas Afternoon Tea for our most respected citizens is held, featuring tea and treats, music and prizes.

One can attend a Kids Holiday Extravaganza of crafts, goodies, games and stories for kids of all ages.

A Spirits of Christmas Tasting Experience presenting, fine wines, whiskeys, spirits, craft beers, curated hors’doeuvres, and of course laughter on a chilly December Friday evening.

And, finally for our families just before Christmas, the annual Breakfast with Santa.
