Little Shop of Horrors in Canmore! ~ A Musical

The Pine Tree Players brings together the talents of Canmore's vibrant community once again in their production of Little Shop of Horrors by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.

One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows, Little Shop Of Horrors, is a charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy that has been produced worldwide to incredible success for over 40 yrs.

This beloved musical follows the story of Seymour, a hapless but lovable floral assistant, as he discovers an unusual and carnivorous plant named Audrey II. As Audrey II grows in size and appetite, Seymour's life takes a series of unexpected twists and turns, leading to a hilariously macabre tale of love, ambition, and moral reckoning.

Directed by Cheryl Naylor, with vocal director Nicole Kowalewski and band director Ryan Stelter, this should be an evening of pure theatrical magic that leaves us laughing, cheering, and perhaps even looking at our houseplants a little differently!

The Pine Tree Players are setting the stage at the Canmore Miners' Union Hall for The Little Shop of Horrors. If you are interested in being a part of the production without having to take the stage, they are looking for volunteers for front of house and green room food prep assistance.
