Stage Kiss: A Stage Play Presented by Pine Tree Players

When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the lines between offstage and onstage begin to blur.

Stage Kiss captures Sarah Ruhl’s singular voice; it is a charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss—or when actors share a real one.

The Pine Tree Players is a non profit that has been bringing community theatre to Canmore and the Bow Valley since 1978.

Their mission is to creatively deliver high quality, engaging, and entertaining theatre programming which develops and supports local talent through an inspiring, inclusive and thriving community organization.

They produce a Summer Theatre Festival in Canmore every year along with several stage productions and events that bring our community together to celebrate and enjoy the arts.

If you have seen a show of the Pine Tree Players, you probably visited the Canmore Miner's Union Hall as many of their productions take place there. This wonderful old building has been the community hub of Canmore for over 100 years.
